The School of Allied Health Sciences has honoured 25 lecturers nominated by students for their outstanding contributions to the school. Their names are listed below.

The Department is one of the seven Departments in the School of Allied Health Sciences, College of Health and Allied Sciences. It is located on the first floor of the Science Complex building at the North Campus. The Department trains students for careers as scientists in Health Institutions and Industrial settings in line with the Health Profession’s Regulatory Bodies Bill (2010) passed by the Parliament of Ghana on 21st December, 2012.
The graduates from the Department are equipped to play a pivotal role in accurate diagnosis of disease and discovery of medicinal products. The Department runs one undergraduate programme (BSc Biomedical Sciences) and two postgraduate programmes in Parasitology (MPhil and PhD). The School of Allied Health Sciences has rewarded a total of 37 students for their remarkable academic performances during the 2022 Academic Year at this year’s Dean's Award Ceremony. The ceremony took place at Auditorium 900.
The Dean's Award ceremony is held yearly to celebrate students who have obtained a CGPA of 3.6 and above at Levels 200 to 400.
The awardees received certificates and undisclosed cash prizes for their accomplishments. The names of the awardees are below.
